How You Can Help
The volunteers of the Batesville Crisis Pregnancy Hotline hope that you have a joyful pregnancy, birth, and parenting experience. To help you make this possible, we have started a Pregnancy Friendship Program for mothers and families who feel they may need some extra help during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

The Pregnancy Friendship Program is an individualized program. Those who participate will be matched with a volunteer Friend who can:

  • help you find available resources
  • assist with transportation to prenatal appointments, if needed
  • provide emergency daycare / babysitting services during your school or work hours
  • offer information to help you with pregnancy or childcare
  • be a companion for your labor and birth
  • be a friend and someone who will listen as you face the challenges ahead
